Privacy Policy
SoloDeck is built to keep your data on your device. Your wallet addresses, rigs and settings live locally on your phone. We don't use third-party trackers, and we don't sell anything about you. The only data that leaves your phone is what's needed to fetch public pool stats and to deliver the push alerts you choose to turn on.
1. Who we are
SoloDeck ("SoloDeck", "we", "us") is a home-mining monitoring app for iPhone, with Android in development. This policy explains what data the app and its services handle and why. Questions: support@solodeck.app.
2. Data stored on your device
Most of what you put into SoloDeck never leaves your phone. The following is stored locally in the app's own storage and is removed when you delete the data in-app or uninstall the app:
- The wallet addresses and pools you choose to monitor, and any labels you give them.
- Your mining hardware — local network addresses, device names, and any credentials you enter to read from or control them.
- Your preferences — theme, units, currency, electricity rate, and notification settings.
We never receive a copy of your hardware credentials. Communication with your miners happens directly between your phone and your devices over your own local network.
3. Data sent to third parties as you use the app
Mining pools
To show your stats, the app queries the public APIs of the pools you add, using the wallet address you entered. This is the same public data anyone can read for that address on that pool. We don't add any identifier of you to these requests.
Price data
Coin prices and 24-hour charts are fetched from CoinGecko. These requests contain no personal data — only the coins being priced.
4. Push notifications (only if you enable them)
Push alerts are off until you turn them on. If you enable them, your phone registers with our notification service so it can watch your pools for you while the app is closed and send alerts (best share, block found, and — on the paid tier — worker and hashrate events). To do that, our server stores:
- Your device's push token (issued by Apple Push Notification service, or the equivalent on Android).
- The pools and wallet addresses you've chosen to monitor, plus any labels and your notification settings.
- An anonymous subscription identifier (see section 5), used only to know which alert tier to deliver.
This data is held only to operate the alerts. It is associated with your push token, not with your name, email, or account — SoloDeck has no login. Turning notifications off, or uninstalling the app, ends the registration and the record is dropped. The notification service runs on Vercel with storage on Upstash.
5. Subscriptions and payments
The optional Premium subscription is handled by the Apple App Store (and, in future, Google Play) together with RevenueCat, which manages entitlements. Your payment details go to the app store, not to SoloDeck — we never see your card number. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous user identifier so the app and notification service can tell whether your Premium features are active.
6. What we don't do
- No third-party ad networks or tracking-based ad targeting.
- No third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or behavioural profiling.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data for marketing.
- No account, no email signup, no contact list access.
7. Data retention
On-device data persists until you remove it in the app or uninstall. Notification registration data is kept only while notifications are active for your device and is removed after your device stops registering. Donations are made on-chain and are public by the nature of the blockchain; SoloDeck does not collect anything about donors.
8. Your choices
- Remove a monitored wallet or device at any time to delete its data from the app.
- Turn notifications off to end server-side registration.
- Uninstall the app to clear all locally stored data and end notification registration.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
If you'd like us to confirm or delete any notification data tied to your device, email support@solodeck.app and we'll help.
9. Children
SoloDeck is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
